Why Shorten your URLs?

Sometimes, it's not practical to share a long URL, for example, when you want to give someone a URL over the phone, or when you want to publish a URL in a prospectus, brochure or newsletter. GoToMyPlace.com allows you to overcome these problems by providing you with a short URL, which automatically points your users to your long URL.

How Does it Work?

You create a short URL at GoToOurPlace.com and share it;
Your user enters your short URL;
Your user is sent to our servers and we redirect them to your long URL. This happens seamlessly, so your user doesn't even know it's hapening.

That's it. It's that simple.

Are There any Restrictions?

We won't redirect to certain URLs that are deemed inappropriate by the SWGfL Filtering service;
We won't allow certain keywords in your short URLs, that are deemed inappropriate by the SWGfL Filtering service;
We reserve the right to delete any URLs that we deem inappropriate;
At present, all URLs create will exist indefinitely, though we reserve the right to change this.
